Supported LA Compost in raising $500K+ for the organization’s soil science and community education programs through the GreenLatinos Urban Greening Initiative. Traveled with the LA Compost team to meet with  officials from key federal agencies (HUD, HHS) & state representatives/senators to advocate for urban greening & localized food systems in South/East Los Angeles.
